ffaacckkk. major senioritis right now. along with feelings of emotional distress and facccking relationship probs, anxiety, stress, and lack of sleep. from time to time, i feel so pressured when people,relatives,friends ask me what im going to be doing after college. its not that i don’t have a plan, i just don’t have a true answer for you. or myself yet because im still in the process of finalizing this shit out yaknow. i can tell you that i want to go to grad school. or that im going to work in seattle, or that im gona get married.. but those might change in the next 2-6months; and then you’d probably just think i fell through it coz i didn’t do it, but in reality, i wanted to do something else that makes me happy and did that instead. duh. anyway, to the fact that i don’t really see myself forever living in maui, the thought of living independently far away from home and away from family, is kind of disheartening. ya i studied abroad, ya i can manage living independently, ya i will survive, but that whole process i feel like is one i don’t have to face on my own, especially when i don’t know when i’ll have ‘break’ again and be able to take time off to go ‘home’. im trying to find myself. trying to get to know me first. and knowing my strengths and weaknesses before i make decisions; its harder than i thought. i thought i knew what i wanted, i thought i knew where i wanted to go, and what i wanted to be. and who i wanted to be with. but in all honesty, i don’t know… times like these when i just need positive thoughts and inspiration to bring me up and finish strong. damn, needing some guidance and pep talk. this is a good time to wish that i had a puppy/doggie :P

Quickie before 2012ends.
This was by far the most eventful and stressful and fulfilling and emotional year thus far. Traveled 5 countries this year. Who else can.say that, right? Got a management job at school. Finished my almost last semester before I graduate college. Ring by spring? Something like that ;) no marriage or babies.though. Bahaha. ..yet.
I just wanna give glory and praise to our Almighty for everything happens for a reason. And All I can ask for now is strength and happiness for my family. God bless everyone. Spread the love

long distance relationships. IT SUCKS! it either makes you or breaks you. and right now, its doing both. 4.1/2 years and i am still in love with my bestfriend more than i ever was when i first met him. yet, our fighting and arguing is nonstop. we are a couple who always fight. ALWAYS! but a couple who fights, only means they care for each other so much, right? blah. i haven’t seen him since i left hawaii. literally! we dont even skype or oovoo or anything anymore. partly bcoz we made a deal not to so it’ll just be so much better when we finally do see each other.. our time and communication is so limited, it fukcing hurts emotionally and im fcking crying my heart out most of the time bcoz i just feel incomplete! yeah, cheesy but true. school is overrated and i know work is important for him, but seriously it takes 5sec. to text. ugh anyway, i dont like writing stuff like this bcoz one minute, i love him to death, the next i just want to dent his car hammer the windows yell at his face and slap him 100000X -__- but really i wont. but i need to vent bcoz im stressed A.F! at school and work and everything n everyone around me. sometimes there’s things i just can’t forgive people for and right now, it’s furcking annoying me that he doesn’t see what he’s doing wrong. FRAWR!! UGH! i just want to sleep for a looooong while and wake up when the sun is out and im home in my own bed. 25days and counting. Lord please give me strength.

ok so its been a while. since im pau with intrnl’ travels i can’t really make this my travel blog anymore but i dont want to post just random shiz either. anyway, im back in spokane :( back where i started 3years ago to finish this thing called college. i am definitely not static about being here in the cold ghetto city of washington but happy to know that i’ll be graduating in less than a year!! thank goodness i live off campus this year. in a decent house with a kitchen and my own room! otherwise senior year would suck to the max if i lived somewhere else—like on campus. anyway, like i always do, i booked my 1-way flight from HI-WA in august and thought since i live in a house and pay damn rent every month, i’ll just stay up here over winter break and jan term!! NOT!!! ugh. i dont know what i was thinking, it’s always money. it always has been. but yesterday… i booked my flight home from december-february!!! woop! the choice was to either spend a whole cold depressing x-mas new years b.day and jan term in spokane. or sacrifice my summer savings to go home and be happpy with life at least until spring semester started again.. good choice on my behalf if you ask me. anyways, time to start HW and procrastination. peace.

PHUKET: phuket’s beach sand is most definitely the softest sand i have ever felt. first night in thailand consisted of us girls meeting a mini ‘bruno mars’ who served us dinner by the beach then ended the night with a stroll on the soft sand.

continued the next day with an adventure in the safari- river rafting in some rough waters, zip lining down a dirty river, and hiking through the deep forest wearing our bikinis and tarzan-like headpieces. lunch time was the only calm time of the day. then off to elephant trekking, where they sadly poke the elephant’s head with a sharp and wooden stick and occasionally kicking it behind its ears. that was the first and last time i am riding an elephant in that situation.

phi-Phi isLand: as much as i dislike the beach, (because i can’t swim O_o and hate the sun (ugh, and i live in hawaii??..why…) i very much enjoyed our trip to phi-phi island and rest of the secluded islands around phuket. the views were amazing and the beaches incredibly breathtaking. if u google it, pictures looks exactly like it in real life! i fed the fishes and snorkeled in the deep waters, with a life vest of course- duh.

massage was also a daily routine in our agenda. my first massage— ever, was a thai massage in thailand! so legit! thai massage, foot massage, oil massage (they massage ur boobies btw), and whole body massage- got it all.

thai people were so welcoming <3 ขอบคุณ “khob-kun-Ka” thailand!

Bangkok: although the academic calendars of asian univies doesn’t consist of spring vacation, we did get Easter break and Ching Ming festival. so i went to THAILAND with some exchange friends- my wonderful girls from Japan, Taiwan, SoCal, North Carolina, and me =)

the overall trip was exhausting but very enjoyable. full of adventures, just how i like it. 3hours of sleep every night was all we got then off to the next destination- straight for 5days. everyday was filled with humidity, walking under the sun, bargaining with street vendors, lively night life, spicy foods, and shopping!

i have been away from home for tooooo long. i am slowly breaking down and becoming homesick, despite the adventures i am having abroad, I need to go home…soon. the weather is getting warmer in Hong Kong..which only reminds me of the hot lahaina sun. at least onlii 55days left until hawaii bound. but before that, i need to prepare for FInals for Potunghua (that’s Mandarin…) and presentations for my business classes. and then to the already planned trip to Macau and Phuket & Bangkok, Thailand and to mainland China and then Philippines in the summer. woahhh! i dont know how im gona afford my final year at whitworth after all this traveling. but when else will i get this opportunity ya know! anyway, main point is my countdown for Hawaii starts NOW. end~

“ASIA’s WORLD CITY”

Food is soooo ahmazingly good here! [and sometimes unsanitary :/ lol] but i eat out most of the time bcoz you just have to try every single food they have here! yesterday, I had fried rice at Chung Chi canteen on school and it was effin legit! although food is waay cheap here, it isn’t always healthy. chinese dishes lack some serious vegetables… and for some reason they don’t drink so much water. they drink A CUP of hot tea after every meal, a cup and that’s it :/ so i am always dehydrated.

anyways, food i had in the last few weeks: Dim Sum! Bubble Milk Tea (the legit kine)! Street Food! Chicken feet! JOLLIBEE!! flii laaiiss (that’s fried rice). mango desserts! Portuguese egg tarts! congee! every type of noodles. haha. seafood dishes! duck! fishballs! and $3USD McDonald meals! awww yeah!

destination: HONG KONG. it is beautiful! so much lights! so much people! so much shopping! its been 2weeks since i landed and everyday has been an adventure…with lots of walking! and my University is literally on a mountain, like lahainaluna, but 5x steeper =/ yay for stairs n hills! but the view from my school is breathtaking, in the day time and night time. although the air is a bit full of shmog all the time so I can barely see the sky. allinall, im excited for this semester!!!

because I probably won’t be back to Australia for….a while. or ever, i decided to visit the la grande melbourne museum to get in touch with the aboriginal stories and aussie history.

some things i just remembered that i found ‘foreign’ when i first came down under:
1-there are 2 buttons you can press when you are done using the toilet. 1 or 2.
2-there are no toilet seat covers anywhere! -_-
3-wages are far out high =)
4-people are everywhere moving way too fast (at least for island people)
5-registered vehicles move on the other side of the road.
6-EVRYTHING is expensive.
7-melbourne weather: as they say “if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes”
8-aussie accents ;)
9-people: melbourne diversity is way different than hawaii diversity
10-sports centre.

Sydney, Australia 2011.

money eats something. although i spent more than i usually spend in my 3days of living, this trip was much needed before my departure from Australia. great views of mountains and oceans that took my breath away* literally— from biking up a storm and being outta shape =/ anyways, i then came to think that Sydney may be more of a place for me than Melbourne is. bloody melbourne. but nothing really beats home: maui on my mind <3

one of the most FUNnnNEST job i’ve ever had!! working at the aquarium!

punchline: “hi welcome to the aquarium! can i get your photo taken before heading on? *click** Cheers!” =)

this job was suuuuper chill and had super crazy people working there. we are also called ‘magic makers’ fyi =). + had good pay! + got me into the Aussie slaaaang ++ free chill time with the creatures and friends of the sea! +++ meeting tourists from all over! and sometimes awkwardly getting their picture taken.

last day of work = sad day :(
and they bought me a cake =) + hugs!

i went around the whole aquarium (for the 9,999th XXxxxs) for the last time. reminisced with the penguins. smiled at the sharks and stingrays. stared at the sea dragons. made a face with Nemos and Doris. passed the jellyfish.es. tried to touch the turtle O_o. wondered about the poisonous frogs. hide and seek with the octopus and giant crabs. then sat for ages in the 360’ Fish Bowl surrounded by intimidating sharks and wondered, ‘what if the tank collapsed? i’d die coz i can’t swim and then get eaten by sharks” =/. so i left at closing time and bought stuff at the souvenir shop. who knows when ill be back…
